Kentucky power forward PJ Washington has received an invitation to sit in the green room at the 2019 NBA Draft, per Jonathan Givony of ESPN.
Along with Gonzaga big men Brandon Clarke and Rui Hachimura, Washington was part of the third batch of invites to go out, joining UK teammate Tyler Herro https://www.kentuckywildcatscenter.com/brad-calipari-jersey-c-11.html, who received an invitation Wednesday morning. Zion Williamson Duke , Ja Morant Murray State , RJ Barrett Duke , Darius Garland Vanderbilt , Jarrett Culver Texas Tech , De Andre Hunter Virginia , Coby White North Carolina , Cam Reddish Duke , Jaxson Hayes Texas , Nassir Little North Carolina and Romeo Langford Indiana have also been invited.
Kentucky wing Keldon Johnson, who is projected as a mid to late first round pick Sacha Killeya-Jones Jersey, could receive one of the final invitations as well. In all, about 20 players will receive invitations, which are based on conversations with NBA general managers and are generally a positive indicator about where a player might be drafted.
Widely projected as a mid first round pick, Washington worked out for the Miami Heat, who own the rights to the No. 13 pick, on Sunday and the Minnesota Timberwolves No. 11 on Wednesday. He has three more scheduled work outs with NBA teams.

Washington had a stretch last season where he scored 20 points in eight of 10 games in late January and early February. After missing his team s first two NCAA Tournament games with a sprained foot, Washington returned to score 16 points off the bench in Kentucky s 62 58 Sweet 16 win over Houston.
In his final game as a Wildcat, Washington posted 28 points and 13 rebounds in UK s 77 71 overtime loss to Auburn in the Elite Eight, after which he was named to the Midwest Regional All Tournament team.
Washington signed with Roc Nation Sports in mid April.
Kentucky has had 35 players drafted under head coach John Calipari since 2010, including 26 first round picks and 19 lottery picks. Calipari has had a top 10 pick in each of the last 11 NBA Drafts dating back to his time at Memphis while 23 of the 25 players who spent only one season in Lexington before turning pro were drafted in the first round. The Wildcats have had multiple first round picks in every draft of the Calipari Era.
The 2019 NBA Draft will be held on June 20 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and will be televised on ESPN.
