But, his spot on the list has been filled already as Dolphins head coach Adam Gase told the media on Friday.Cornerback Cordrea Tankersley is done for the season after taking a bad step during Thursday’s practice and tearing his ACL. He takes the IR list back to practice squad size. Miami also has two players listed as practice squad/injured, Travis Rudolph and Garrison Smith.This team has been unable to shake the injury bug that latched on to them in 2017 Mark Duper Jersey , when they finished the season with 16 players on injured reserve. Miami does have the option to activate Jake Brendel off the IR if he is ready to return to the team.Tankersley appeared in six games this season, recording four tackles. He was expected to start the season with the first team opposite Xavien Howard but never found the form that had him starting 11 games last year with 31 tackles and seven passes defensed. Tankersley was a big contributor on special teams this season, where his loss may hurt the most. Miami’s third-round pick in 2017, Tankersley will now begin working toward a comeback in 2019, with the Dolphins likely looking for a big step forward in his development - if he his knee responds.Along with Howard, the Dolphins have Bobby McCain Mark Clayton Jersey , Torry McTyer, and Cornell Armstrong, along with safeties Minkah Fitzpatrick and Walkt Aikens, able to play cornerback. They will face off against the Jets on Sunday.
