The New England Patriots defeated Antworten

the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII by a final score of 13 to 3. Here are some hot takes on the big game , with a Philadelphia Eagles slant. What an incredibly boring and unmemorable Super Bowl. It’s a good thing this game didn’t matter.Philadelphia’s win over the Patriots in Super Bowl LII only continues to look impressive. The Eagles are the only team to beat the Patriots in New England’s last four trips to the Super Bowl. The Eagles could potentially be the last team to ever beat Tom Brady and Bill Belichick in the Super Bowl.Don’t you feel like the Eagles could’ve beaten the Pats for a second year in a row if they just made it here? What if Alshon Jeffery never drops that pass in New Orleans?! The Pats are fortunate the Eagles didn’t make it back to see them.Sean McVay is a fraud. Offensive genius my ass. No other team in Super Bowl history has only managed to score three points. I’ve been saying forever now that it was such a joke that he won Coach of the Year over Doug Pederson in 2017. The voters continue to look really, really foolish on that one. Pederson is 2-0 against McVay. Pederson also scored 41 points in a Super Bowl WIN over the Patriots. A big reason why the Eagles were able to beat the Pats is because Pederson was truly fearless. McVay, on the other hand, was a coward in this game. He opted to punt on 4th-and-3 in Patriots territory. He ran a coward’s draw on a 3rd-and-long before punting the ball to the Patriots, who then scored their only touchdown of the game. The truth is McVay didn’t even deserve to be in the Super Bowl. His incredibly weak decision to kick a red zone field goal against the Saints in the 2019 NFC Championship Game was bailed out by one of the worst missed calls in the history of the NFL playoffs. Thankfully Womens Richard Rodgers Jersey , the Football Gods decided it was time to stop rewarding McVay’s cowardice on the biggest stage of the season.Give me egotistical Carson Wentz over milquetoast Jared Goff any day of the week. Goff’s updated career playoff stats: 55% completion, 6.4 yards per attempt, 2 TD, 2 INT, 73.6 passer rating Jordan Matthews Jersey , 2 fumbles. Carson Wentz > Jared Goff. Also, Nick Foles > Jared Goff. Rams should’ve kept Foles! All teams are now 0-0 once again. Here’s to the Eagles climbing back to the top of the mountain for their second Super Bowl win next year. Battles of undefeated teams brought out the best in a few draft prospects. There was plenty of high profile matchups in week eleven of the college football season. These marquee games led to nationally watched performances from some of the best players in the country. Of particular interest: The Crimson Tide took on a red hot LSU team while Penn State sought to defend their record from a scrappy Minnesota team. LSU prevailed while Minnesota upset the Nittany Lions and neither big win would be possible without performances from contributing NFL Draft prospects. The LSU/Alabama matchup belonged to Clyde Edwards-Helaire. The running back has flown under the radar while Joe Burrow and the LSU passing game was snatched headlines from week to week, but Saturday was his night to shine. The spritely 5-8 running back rushed the ball 20 times for 103 yards (5.3 YPC) and three touchdowns while leading the LSU passing game with nine receptions for 77 yards and another score. Running backs nary have their best nights against Alabama but Edwards-Helaire had a breakout game on the biggest stage of his life. He ran tough, decisively and elusively. In the passing game he was dependable and made yards after the catch on short passes. The field of running backs this year is a crowded one, but Edwards-Helaire should gain some hype after that performance. His three down ability will always draw attention and now he has great tape against one of the best teams in the country. In another high ranking conference matchup , Minnesota upended Penn State due to great team football. However, it’s hard to ignore another dominant performance from Antoine Winfield Junior. The playmaking safety snagged two more interceptions, bringing his season total to seven. He made great tackles against the run and pass all game, generally playing the menace to Penn State’s offense. Winfield Junior’s performance is hugely responsible to upsetting the Lions, just as his play has been crucial in Minnesota’s excellent season. The redshirt junior has firmly established himself as one of the top defensive backs in the country.
